Bisection Method

According to IVT f(x) is continuous over interval $[x_0,x_1]$ if $f(x_0)\ast f(x_1)<0$

Bisection method allows us to split this interval into 2 to shorten the interval to find where f(x) equals 0

$x_2=\frac{x_1+x_0}{2}$ divides OG interval $[x_0,x_1]$ into 2 sub-intervals $[x_0,x_2]$ and $[x_2,x_1]$

If $f(x_2)(x_1)>0$ then root in $[x_0,x_2]$

If $f(x_2)f(x_1)=0$ then root is $x_2$
