What would dreaming big at Hack the North look like for you? (400 characters)
Dreaming big to me is setting high expectations for myself and striving to achieve them. Everyday I dream of creating my own wave, my work having a direct impact on the life I live. At Hack the North I want to find other innovators who share the same dream as mine and work alongside them to bring our idea to reality outside the hackathon, building something that impacts the lives of millions.

Tell us about something you worked on that brought a passion to life. What inspired you to get started? (1200 characters)
The one who saves the city at night, the one who keeps Gotham safe, the dark knight whose silhouette strikes fear into the hearts of criminals, Batman. As a child I loved watching Batman movies. It always excited me to see a cool mysterious superhero that lived double lives, going around saving the city at night yet living a comparatively normal life during the day.
Ever since the trend on instagram where people claimed to be Batman, this sparked a new passion within myself. How could I use what I know to become Batman?
I participated in the UC Berkeley AI Hackathon, where I utilized ControlNet, a fine-tune of stable diffusion. ControlNet enhances input images by applying a theme provided by the user while maintaining the original structure. To achieve my goal I developed illus, an application similar to photoshop that allows you to edit an image using a prompt. I fine-tuned two LoRA adapters which were used to determine which image generation model should be used, and worked on implementing Intel’s IPEX optimization, which used Intel’s XPU architecture, reducing generation time by 97%.
My Batman dreams became a reality. I am Batman. Check the attached link for the results :)
