For an engineering major I like to believe that I enjoy nature quite a bit
I love going on walks
I love the rain
I love the sun
I love the snow
Everything in life is purposeful, rather than fight what’s inevitable embrace it
I love the stars.
There’s something about sitting under the stars and looking up that just makes you forget all your worries and appreciate everything around you
It’s November 21st, 2024 1:56 AM. I have a CS assignment due on Friday, a Calculus quiz tomorrow, and so much work to catch up on.
I don’t care
I look at the stars and all of that fades to just me sitting on a bench on a chilly night just happy that I am fortunate enough to play the game of life
I start appreciating everything more, the chill of the night, the friends, the pointless arguments, the homework assignments, and how far I have come
I start looking forward to everything I have ahead of me, getting my first co-op, meeting new people, and making cool stuff
Life’s never easy, you might be dealing with relationship issues, doing bad in school, not being where you want to be, or all of the above
But sitting under the stars just gives you the hope and encouragement that these issues are temporary and greater things lie ahead of you
Lead a life worth telling, be an ethical and honest human being, care for and protect the people special to you, and most important always keep looking ahead
That’s what the stars remind me of
